Privacy Policy
Voice News BD is built to minimize data collection. We do not require accounts, we do not run tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data. This page explains exactly what we do collect and why.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most read. Cloudflare's analytics system is cookieless and privacy-first: it does not track individual users across sessions, does not use browser fingerprinting, and does not share data with advertising networks.
No personally identifiable information is collected through our analytics. The data we see consists of aggregate counts: page views, unique visits by country, browser type, and referring source. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.
Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie (__cf_bm) for bot management as part of their network infrastructure. This cookie does not track your browsing activity across other sites and is not used for advertising.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store the email address you give us so we can send you the digest. That is the only thing we ask for, and it is entirely optional. We use it to email you Voice News BD updates, and nothing else.
We do not share or sell your address. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to news@voicenewsbd.com.
User accounts
Voice News BD does not offer user accounts. There is no login, and reading the site requires no registration or personal details. The only personal data you can submit is your email, and only if you choose to join the newsletter described above. If accounts are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature launches.
Third-party links
Every story on Voice News BD links to the original article on the outlet's own website. When you click through to The Daily Star, Reuters, Prothom Alo, or any other source, you leave our site and are subject to that outlet's own privacy policy. We have no control over what data third-party sites collect.
Advertising
This site does not currently run advertising. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe any data processing it requires, and a consent mechanism will be added before any personalized ad scripts are loaded.
Infrastructure
The site is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network. Cloudflare processes request metadata (IP addresses, headers) as part of routing and DDoS protection. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. IP addresses are not stored in our application or accessible to us.
Data requests
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing to delete, correct, or export. If you believe we hold data about you and want to make a request, or if you have any privacy-related question, contact us at news@voicenewsbd.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially — for example, if advertising or user accounts are introduced — we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practical, note the change clearly.
